CODESYS is used in more than 1 million machines and systems worldwide. This makes us the market leader for hardware-independent control software in the field of industrial automation. To keep it that way, more than 200 employees work on the development and marketing of CODESYS at our offices in Kempten, Boston, Beijing, and Milan.

Your tasks:

  • Draft and implementation of long-term sustainable concepts, solutions and tools for our build- and deployment-platforms
  • Design and maintaining the IT-architecture of these platforms
  • Support of the associated hardware and software resources
  • Technical support for other departments on CI/CD-relevant issues
  • Analysis of existing processes and development of sustainable solutions to increase efficiency through automation and process optimization
The CODESYS ecosystem is defined by a large number of perfectly coordinated software products. In order to meet our customers' requirements for these products, we regularly provide new product versions. To cope with this high pace, we rely on highly modularized and highly automated software configuration management. Our team is responsible for the definition, implementation and functionality of the corresponding processes and resources. We are also constantly working on eliminating manual activities in this environment.

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in a technical field or training in the field of IT (e.g. digital networking, system integration) or a comparable technical background 
  • Basic understanding of security principles such as PoLP, KISS or Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
  • Awareness of current challenges in information security
  • Strong communication skills and enjoy working with other departments
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Advantageous:
    • Experience in relevant projects
    • Knowledge of Docker and enterprise Linux environments
    • Experience with AWS or other cloud services and version management systems, such as Git
    • Programming skills in one or more languages, such as C#, Python or JavaScript
